LATEST: Rap mogul Marion 'Suge' Knight, has been released from a Miami hospital, after undergoing treatment for a gunshot wound in his leg.
The Death Row Records founder, 40, was released late last week (ends02SEP05), according to officials at Mount Sinai Medical Center, who refuse to release any other information.
Knight was shot during a party hosted by Kanye West in the VIP room at the Shore Club prior to 28 August's (05) MTV Video Music Awards.
Miami Beach police have made no arrests over Knight's shooting and have complained about lack of cooperation from witnesses. Knight underwent surgery to remove the bullet from his leg and repair a fractured bone.
