Klum Busts Diamond Bra

Supermodel Heidi Klum went on an American TV show to publicise a jewel-studded lingerie set - but managed to break the bra before she could show it off.

The 30-year-old German appeared on Jay Leno's show earlier this week (begs13OCT03) to show off the $8 million (GBP5 million) Victoria's Secret diamond-and-sapphire outfit.

But moments before she revealed the expensive look, Heidi groaned, "I think my bra has broken."

Leno and comedian Martin Short, also a guest on the show, rushed to her aid, trying to fix the bra and then offering Heidi their jackets to keep her modesty intact.

Heidi failed to fix the bra - but did managed to remove her knickers and show those off to the astonished audience. She was then heard whispering, "We need to go to a commercial."

During the ad break, smitten stagehands repaired the MOUWAD-designed bra with tape, and sultry Heidi later modeled it properly.

A show insider reveals, "Once filming had finished there were a lot of nervous faces backstage. The bra is going to the repair shop."
