Kitten's Career Saved By Manager
ATOMIC KITTEN beauty JENNY FROST's struggle to land a solo deal has been dealt a major boost - her manager has signed her to his own label.
The sexy WHOLE AGAIN star has previously been snubbed by record giants EMI as she bids to carve out a solo career in the aftermath of the girl group's temporary demise.
However, her manager MARTIN O'SHEA has offered her a timely lifeline - a $1.8 million (GBP1 million) record deal on his independent outfit INTEGRAL.
The contract will allow Frost full creative control over her musical offerings, a freedom her manager claims would have been stripped away from her had she signed to EMI.
O'Shea says, "It's like when MADONNA signed to MAVERICK. She's independent and has control. That's what Jenny wanted. She didn't want to go down the same route as RACHEL STEVENS and EMMA BUNTON who churn out songs like they're in a factory.
"It's a good thing it didn't work out with EMI as she would have been just another puppet."28/04/2004 09:20
