Kinks Siblings Still At War

The Kinks' guitarist DAVE DAVIES has hit out at his "spoilt" brother Ray's supposed show of support after his near fatal stroke last year (JUN04).

The feuding twosome have suffered a stormy relationship since their 1960s heyday, but when Ray insisted he had been taking care of his suffering sibling, Dave dismissed the claim as "b**locks".

He says, "That is so Ray. He likes to think he's the good guy. I had not seen him for about 10 months then.

"He was very sympathetic when I became ill, of course, but I've had great therapists. Ray's not been part of that.

"The problems started when I was three and I was born. I stole his thunder.

"He's been trying to make up for it ever since, he can't help himself. He's spoilt."
