Kidman Hopes Holmes Will Finally Make Cruise Happy

Nicole Kidman hopes ex-husband Tom Cruise and new love Katie Holmes find happiness for the sakes of their children.

Kidman insists she has remained single since her high-profile split from Cruise in February 2001, while she's seen the actor embark on a series of unsuccessful relationships with Penelope Cruz and Sofia Vergara, before proposing to Holmes in June (05) after a whirlwind three-month relationship.

The couple have two adopted children together, 12-year-old ISABELLA and 10-year-old CONNOR and Kidman is desperate for the situation to be more normal.

She says, "I hope he's happy, it's that simple. If he's happy our kids are happy.

"He's had a few girlfriends now, and it's been years - we've moved on."
