Kidman Dreamed Of Becoming A Mother At 17

OSCAR-winning actress Nicole Kidman was so desperate to become a mother before adopting, she dreamed about having children when she was just 17 years old.

THE HOURS star adopted ISABELLA, 11, and nine-year-old CONOR while she was still married to actor Tom Cruise.

And Kidman admits she has no regrets about forgoing the Hollywood party scene in favour of looking after her children.

She says, "I spent my 20's raising kids. My friends were all going to parties and I was raising two children - but I wanted to do that, that was my thing. I always wanted to have a baby from early on. Even at 17, I would fantasise about it.

"This is what I was here to do."
