Keira's College Nightmare

Dyslexic Keira Knightley conquered her reading problems to head for university - but hated every minute of it when she was there.

The stunning Brit worked hard to overcome her learning disability, and tried to keep her parents happy by signing up for tertiary education rather than following her acting dreams. But the school time did not go well.

She admits, "I did try college for three months but to tell you the truth, I was desperately unhappy there. I just wanted to perform and college was the last place I wanted to be.

"I was getting straight As by this point, but I had absolutely no friends and was just crying every day. It was a great relief when I finally left."
