Keira Knightley: Bullies Made Me Strong

Movie beauty Keira Knightley has revealed school bullies made her determined to succeed as an actress.

The Pirates Of The Caribbean: THE CURSE OF THE BLACK PEARL star was tormented when she was younger because she is dyslexic.

But the 18-year-old British star says their remarks only encouraged her to pursue her dreams of success.

She says, "It's amazing what one child's cruelty will do to another child.

"Being called stupid by a lot of other kids makes you determined to get over whatever ailment is holding you back. And it made me determined to prove them wrong."
