Keating To Play Islam In Movie
Irish singer Ronan Keating's fledging quest to launch a successful movie career has been dealt a major boost - courtesy of his Father and Son collaborator Yusuf Islam.
Muslim convert Islam - formerly CAT STEVENS - teamed up with Keating to cover his 1970 track last year (04) and has since formed a strong friendship with the ex-Boyzone hunk.
Having experienced fame once again after years out of the limelight, Islam is now eagerly working on a big screen musical of his life story - and he wants Keating to play him.
Islam says, "I like the guy. He is immensely talented and he wants to move into acting."
