British rockers KAISER CHIEFS have shattered their rock 'n' roll credibility - by naming cartoon amphibian CRAZY FROG's critically-mauled hit AXEL F as the most exciting thing in today's music scene.
The animated frog's remake of HAROLD FALTERMEYER's BEVERLY HILLS COP movie theme tune caused controversy by becoming the first mobile phone ringtone to cross to the mainstream music charts and claim the number one spot.
But I PREDICT A RIOT star NICK 'PEANUT' BAINES has defended the track, insisting it cheers him up whenever he hears it.
The drummer says, "The thing that excites me most at the moment is Crazy Frog. I genuinely love the sounds that thing makes.
"I don't like what goes with it, and I'd never buy the ringtone because I'd get ripped off. I don't like any of that paraphernalia.
"But when I hear that noise, I stand up and I punch the air."
