Juanes Clears Up At Latin Grammys

Columbian star JUANES emerged victorious from the LATIN GRAMMY AWARDS last night (03SEP03) - winning all five categories he was nominated in.

The singer and songwriter scooped gongs in the Record of the Year, Song of the Year (for ES POR TI), Album of the Year, best Rock Solo Vocal Album (for UN DIA NORMAL) and best Rock Song (for MALA GENTE) - delighting the shocked star.

He says, "It's the most impressive day of my life."

Other winners included Miami's own band BACILOS, who won Best Tropical Song (for MI PRIMER MILLON) and Best Pop Album by a group (for CARLUNA), and Spanish native DAVID BISBAL, who was named Best Newcomer.
