Jazz Star Fallon Dies

Acclaimed jazz bassist JACK FALLON has died after a long illness. He was 90. The Canada-born star collaborated with an array of musical icons during his lifetime, including THE BEATLES and jazz greats ELLA FITZGERALD and DUKE ELLINGTON. In a statement his family said, "One of nature's gentlemen, Jack was loved and respected by everyone in the music industry and will be sadly missed but fondly remembered." He is survived by his children MARK and JANE.
