Jason Priestley To Make Tv Return

Former BEVERLY HILLS 90210 hunk JASON PRIESTLEY has signed a deal with American TV network FOX to star in his own primetime series.

The actor, who played BRANDON WALSH on the network's hit show for eight years, will either have a series made especially for him or star in one of Fox's development projects to air in autumn next year (04).

Priestley - who nearly died last year (02) when a race car he was driving at the KENTUCKY SPEEDWAY crashed head-on into a wall - had been signed to serve as a sports commentator for several INDY RACING LEAGUE events on TV station ABC, but his accident forced him out of the deal.
