Janet Sets 'New Low In Bad Taste' According To Poll

JANET JACKSON's breast-flashing incident at the SUPER BOWL has been dubbed a "new low in bad taste" by 47 per cent of Americans.

The singer sparked outrage at the televised football final on 1 February (04), when JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE ripped open her bustier at the end of their duet to reveal a bejewelled breast.

And while a number of Jackson's celebrity pals and loved ones have spoken out in her defence, a TIME/CNN poll released yesterday (08FEB04) reveals almost half of her native country's population are unimpressed with the stunt.

But 68 per cent of the 1,000 people polled say the FEDERAL COMMUNICATIONS COMMISSION should not fine TV network CBS for the broadcast.
