James Woods Opts To Stay Single

Hollywood actor JAMES WOODS has vowed to stay single after two disastrous attempts at wedded bliss.

Woods says he's had to take his failed relationships as evidence he's just not made for marriage.

He explains, "The world's a better place if I'm a single man."

The JOHN Q star was married to costume designer KATHRYN GREKO from 1980 to 1983, and to horse trainer SARAH OWEN - whom he calls "a bitch" - from 1989 to 1990.

He says, "We were married for three-and-a-half weeks and she had me in court for four-and-a-half years."

His last engagement was to actress MISSY CRIDER, 27. They split in 2000. Woods has also dated gorgeous actresses HEATHER GRAHAM, LAUREN HOLLY and ALEXIS THORPE. He accused actress SEAN YOUNG of stalking him.

But Woods, who turns 56 on 18 April (03), says his relationship with Owen was the most toxic.

He notes, "We were like ships passing in the night, only I didn't realise she was the EXXON VALDEZ."
