Whitney Houston need not be alone as she struggles to face her drug demons - Hollywood star SAMUEL L. JACKSON is offering empathy and support.

As the SO EMOTIONAL singer continues to fight a "prescription drug" addiction problem - the PULP FICTION star, 55, has vowed to be there for the troubled star if she wants to speak to him.

The OSCAR-nominated actor successfully fought his own crack habit - before finding fame in a string of films including Jackie Brown, Unbreakable and Shaft.

Jackson says, "When, and if, she ever wants to reach out to someone, I'd be willing to sit down and talk to her and give her a hand if she wanted one."
