Jackson To Re-Release Top Singles

Pop superstar MICHAEL JACKSON plans to follow in the footsteps of ELVIS PRESLEY and re-release 20 of his biggest hits as singles.

Presley topped the charts almost continuously earlier this year when 18 of his tracks were released in Britain, one a week, so his record company could cash in before the 50-year copyright protection on sound recordings expired on his earlier hits.

Now Jackson hopes to achieve the same success with the consecutive UK release of 20 of his singles starting with THRILLER and DON'T STOP 'TIL YOU GET ENOUGH on 23 January (06). The series will conclude with BLOOD ON THE DANCEFLOOR on 29 May (06).

The CDs will feature music on one side and a video on the other - making them the first Dualdisc releases.

You Jacko fans can't be serious. These are re-re-re-re-re-released pieces of marketing crap, and they're going to flop like dying fish. Sony will "buy" enough to get them into the top 40, so it looks like they are selling - but they won't. Who says Michael Jackson wasn't found guilty? Just like McDonalds, billion and billions have passed judgement. news://alt.music.michael-jackson
