Jackson Accused Of Making Death Threats
Pop superstar MICHAEL JACKSON threatened to murder the family of his child molestation accuser, a court has heard.
Teenage sex accuser GAVIN ARVIZO's mother JANET, 37, told the Santa Maria, California, court house yesterday (18APR05) that the THRILLER star personally issued the chilling warning to her after British journalist MARTIN BASHIR's controversial TV documentary LIVING WITH MICHAEL JACKSON aired in 2003.
When quizzed on the witness stand by Jackson's defence lawyer about the source of the threats, she simply responded, "Michael told me."
Janet also claimed Jackson's aides attempted to force the Arvizo family out of America after the TV show - which featured the singer cuddling Gavin and openly admitting he shared his bed with children - was broadcast around the world.
She told jurors she was convinced her children would meet their tragic demise in a hot air balloon disaster at Jackson's Neverland ranch home in Santa Barbara, California.
Jackson has pleaded not guilty to 10 felony charges of child molestation, administering an intoxicating agent and conspiracy involving allegations of child abduction, false imprisonment and extortion.
The trial continues.19/04/2005 13:41
