Ja Rule's Studio Parties Slammed
JA RULE's New York recording studio is reportedly making neighbours' lives a misery - because of the wild parties held there.
Locals in the Soho district have complained about the excessive noise and bad behaviour going on at THE INC studios - with some threatening to move out.
One says, "It's a front for their parties. They are aggressive, they drink a lot, they smoke a lot and they are affecting our lives.
"The police say they can't do anything. I'm considering moving because of these gangsters."
One resident believes the studio's close circuit cameras mean the revellers can avoid trouble with the police, by spotting them before they get to the fifth and sixth floor studios.
The resident explains, "Last night the police raided the place. But because of the cameras, by the time the cops got up there, calm music was playing - which it hadn't been for four hours."
However, Rule's spokesperson insists, "People go there to record."27/04/2004 14:05
