Indian Film Director Makes Movie On London Bombings

Bollywood director Mahesh Bhatt is making a film based on the 7 July (05) London bombings.

The veteran movie maker will start shooting SUICIDE BOMBER, starring his son RAHUL as a disenchanted British Asian Muslim living in the North of England, in July (06).

He says, "Muslims are demonised by the western nations, especially after the so-called war on terror.

"The gulf between Muslims and the rest of the world is widening. The film will be an attempt to clarify (that) Islam is not demonic and to delve into the mind of a suicide bomber to try to find out what drives him to reject life for a violent death."

The attacks in London saw suicide bombers target three underground trains and a bus, killing 52 people during the morning rush hour.
