Hunter Wants More Colour In Manhattan

THE PIANO star HOLLY HUNTER has a bizarre dream for Manhattan, New York City - she wants all of its white buildings eliminated.

The Hollywood actress has a strong dislike for the borough's colourless buildings and wants to see them brightened up.

She says, "I don't like white buildings in Manhattan. I would like all of the buildings that are white in Manhattan to be painted a colour. I find that the colour is too startling."

But that's not the only change Hunter wants to see: "The next thing that I would do is that I would bury the Westside Highway from 57th street down to Battery Park City. I would have the Westside Highway be an underground event."
