Howard Hides From Da Vinci Fans
Director RON HOWARD has been forced to disguise the name of his new movie version of best-selling novel THE DA VINCI CODE, because the set has become swamped with fans.
The OSCAR winner is on location in England shooting the film, which stars TOM HANKS, AUDREY TAUTOU and SIR IAN McKELLEN.
But the shoot has been hampered by die-hard fans of DAN BROWN's novel, desperate to catch a glimpse of filming - so Howard has changed the title of the film on scripts, furniture, and signs and banned crew from using the real name.
But readers of the novel won't struggle to decipher the false name - Howard has opted for THE ROSE LINE, which is a key theme and instantly recognisable to anyone familiar with the book.
