Homme And Oliveri Bury The Hatchet

Queens Of The Stone Age frontman Josh Homme appears to have reconciled with former bandmate NICK OLIVERI.

Bassist Oliveri was fired from the band by Homme in February (04) after the singer became increasingly frustrated with Oliveri's wild behaviour.

At the time he said of Oliveri, "When you're a tornado, you never see the damage."

But, according to a posting on the group's website, the former bandmates were seen together at Los Angeles music venue Silverlake Spaceland after Homme's gig with his side project Eagles of Death Metal.

The onlooker wrote, "I saw Josh and Nick (who was at the show to see the Eagles) embrace, talk, laugh and smile. They may not be playing together but they sure seemed like old friends genuinely glad to be hanging out together."
