Holmes Checks Out Scientology

Katie Holmes is wasting no time impressing her new boyfriend Tom Cruise with her beliefs - she has already started learning about Scientology.

Cruise's ex-wife Nicole Kidman and former girlfriend Penelope Cruz both steered clear of the controversial belief system, created by sci-fi writer L RON HUBBARD, but his new love is taking an active interest.

She says, "I have looked into it (Scientology) myself and I really like it and I think it's really wonderful... I feel like I'm bettering myself."
