Hogan Questioned Over Tax Avoidance
Australian actor Paul Hogan is being questioned by the Australian Crime Commission over allegations he is involved in a multi-million tax avoidance scheme.
The 65-year-old co-wrote and produced Crocodile Dundee and its two sequels with business partner John Cornell, and the pair are estimated to have a combined earning of over $108 million (GBP60 million) from the movies.
Australian authorities have reportedly discovered millions in royalty payments from the films channelled into complex offshore tax structures in Chile and the Antilles - a renowned tax avoidance ploy.
