Finnish metal band HIM prefer to indulge in group masturbation sessions rather than succumb to the allure of groupies, because they are scared of bedding a transsexual by mistake.

Frontman VILLE VALO claims that joint viewing of pornographic channels on hotel televisions keeps their sexual desires at bay, and avoids any band members getting into embarrassing situations.

Valo says, "There's always temptation, but it's not hard to resist.

	look i see it this way... the above is a transexual yes? so what if he/she doesn't like HIM and are offended from the statement? that's one less they'll have to worry about accidently picking up, should temptation get the better of them. ;) if people are going to be judgmental about a band because of sexual preferences not only does it show their lack of intelligence but it also shows that they aren't as open minded as they'd like to preen themselves as being. they're sexual habits are their business. if they decide to divulge that information to the world, one shouldn't judge them as a band because of it. i dont happen to like the idea of being with a transexual either. but that's not my only preference. i have a lot of 'd'ruthers' than that. point being this.... they're people, human beings and they're allowed to like and enjoy whatever they want to... that's not the driving point that makes a band what they are or who they are. i mean...... should i get pissy because boy george only likes men? do i think that means he hates women? i shouldn't think so since he does his very damnedest to emanate them all the time. music is music. i happen to think boy george made/makes good music.... i don't foresee me being a judgmental arse because he prefers a different sexual partner than my particular gender. that's just immature and unintelligent. enough said.

	i agree...its better to fulfill your needs with other things than to go and have sex with the 1st girl they see. thats just...bad. and yeah they are the greatest band alive and without them in my life...i wouldnt be here right now. i love all of them and im so happy to be able to listen to their beautiful music.

	Look yay for u bein a transexual... and bein proud of it...! just cos they sed that they were afraid of it mite mean they just dont like men, u no that they arent gay...! not that they have anything against u or ppl like u....Its sumthing they do and sayin wat ur sayin makes u just as bad as u think they r... so really stop gettin all shirty and show respect at the fact that they, instead of fukin around, do sumthing else! They r a good band and wouldnt of meant anything by it.... oh and their not on drugs honey...!!!!
