Hilton's Chihuahua Bites Tv Producer

Hotel heiress Paris Hilton's pet Chihuahua TINKERBELL has torn a chunk out of a TV show producer's hand.

The pooch was accompanying Paris' mother, Kathy Hilton, on American TV show TODAY, filmed in New York, when things suddenly turned violent backstage.

Kathy took the dog with her while promoting her new show I WANT TO BE A HILTON, after being enlisted with the job of minding Tinkerbell while Paris visited Los Angeles on business.

A show insider tells PAGESIX.COM, "Kathy knows everyone just wants to hear about or be with Paris, so since Paris couldn't be there, she thought Tink was almost as good."

But before she was interviewed by Katie Couric, Kathy was sitting in the green room when the producer came in and said, 'Oh, Tinkerbell!' She put her hand in Tink's Louis Vuitton carrying case and it bit her hand.

"Tinkerbell wasn't kidding - she really bit in good. The producer had to shake the dog off. It was a nasty bite."

chilover, I wonder if you would feel the same had it been a "pit bull" that had "bit a chunk out of the producers hand"?There are so many people today that have become "dog-racists". It's ok for one breed to bite a person or another animal but, if it's a "pit bull" then everyone screams "kill them all!"I believe in equality, all dog-owners should be responsible. Train, socialize, maintain, and CONTROL all pups/dogs no matter what breed or mix they may be.By the way, Paris Hilton ditched her Chihuahua for two ferrets, and now has ditched them for a monkey! Some people just should not be allowed to own any animals!!!

NO. I disagree. As a chi mom and knowing their breed as being protective of their loved ones i disagree with you. Any person who knows dogs/animals should know NOT to reach overhand to a strange dog--they will bite! So it was his fault, regardless of the dogs owner was a guy on the street or a hilton.
