Heartbroken Elijah's Rock Cure

LORD OF THE RINGS star ELIJAH WOOD has a fool-proof cure for heartache - he indulges in some heavy metal music.

The 22-year-old, who plays Hobbit FRODO in the fantasy trilogy, recently split from a secret belle - and has found fame and fortune don't help when it comes to love.

He admits, "I just had my heart broken. Now I'm single again. It's my lot in life.

"Do you want to know the first thing I did after my heart was broken? I played a BLACK SABBATH CD because, because rock heals all wounds.

"One of my break-up songs is by NINE INCH NAILS, it's a real 'screw you, you broke my heart' record."
