Hawke: Law Was My Rock

Movie star Ethan Hawke turned to his GATTACA co-star Jude Law for advice after his marriage to Uma Thurman broke down following his alleged affair with Canadian model JEN PERZOW.

Hawke and Thurman separated in August 2003 after five years together, six months after Law split from his wife, fashion designer Sadie Frost (FEB03).

Hawke tells American magazine DETAILS he listened to Johnny Cash records and talked to Law in an attempt to get over the split.

The Texan actor has never confirmed or denied he cheated on Thurman, who has since found love with hotel tycoon ANDRE BALZAS.

Hawke says, "If our problems were that simple, we would still be together."
