Hathaway In Shocking New Role

Hollywood beauty Anne Hathaway has made a break from her THE PRINCESS DIARIES stereotype by starring in a shocking teenage drama.

The 21-year-old beauty plays a spoiled rich girl who gets involved with Latino gangs in inner-city America in the controversial movie Havoc, and she's thrilled she's had the opportunity to show her versatility by swearing, smoking and stripping in the film.

She says, "I wanted to do something that really scared me so I went right into the head of the character in Havoc and I didn't come up for air until I was done.

"I had a character in whom I could lose myself, rap and say dirty, dirty things... I'm talking about girls suffering huge, gaping depression and who are hugely self-destructive. In America this is a problem."
