Harrison Family In Court
The widow of late BEATLES legend GEORGE HARRISON has been ordered to agree a settlement with her former brother-in-law over claims he stole from the guitarist's home
OLIVIA HARRISON is suing CARL ROLES after he allegedly took the personal items in the 1970s, while living with the couple in Los Angeles, and tried sell them the day after the pop star's death in November 2001.
Harrison's lawsuit claims he told a journalist, "There was a lot of money to be made from memorabilia related to George Harrison, given his recent death."
Roles claimed he had recovered the items from the home when it was destroyed by a mudslide in 1980 and has returned many of them to Harrison.
But Olivia is seeking punitive damages.
The pair have been ordered to return to court on 17 April (03) to agree a settlement or set a trial date.
