Happy Days Star Will Never Act Again
Former HAPPY DAYS actor RON HOWARD loves being in control and insists he will never return to acting because he hates being told what to do.
The OSCAR-winning film-maker, who played RICHIE CUNNINGHAM in the 1970s TV show, knows he is a bad actor because he can't take direction.
But he loves bossing other people around and insists the director role is the best part he ever got on a movie.
He says, "I don't have a performer's personality. I like taking charge a little more. I like driving the car.
"I remember once going through an uncomfortable contract dispute with the studio over Happy Days."
