Green's Divine Album Inspiration

Soul legend AL GREEN decided to record his first non-religious album in 27 years after being given the go-ahead by God himself.

The new album I CAN'T STOP sees Green reunite with producer WILLIE MITCHELL, who propelled him to fame in the 1970s with hits like LET'S STAY TOGETHER.

And although Green made a conscious decision to re-establish the award-winning musical partnership, he is in no doubt of who is really in charge of his destiny.

He says, "It's predestined. I land where I land because of the high master. I'm not in control."
