Grammer's X-Men Role Leaves Him Blue

X-MEN: THE LAST STAND star KELSEY GRAMMER suffered depression on the set of the action sequel and dreaded spending hours in make-up being painted blue from head to toe. Grammer plays Dr HANK MCCOY, an academic who mutates into the BEAST, in the third installment of the comic book franchise. While enjoying the role, the star admits early morning wake up calls and endless hours in make-up were frustrating. Grammer says, "It does become daunting. There are moments of great despair about getting in the car and getting picked up and going to that place where they put that crap on you again. It's usually pretty early and it's a very challenging thing to do physically and emotionally. "There's a thing that happens where you do get depressed a little If I were to do something again like this I'd be very responsible about the way it's scheduled."
