Grammer Is Injured Soldier's Hero
An injured American soldier has hailed KELSEY GRAMMER his hero after the FRASIER star gave him the boost he needed after losing his leg in the Iraq conflict.
SCOTT BARKALOW, 40, was contemplating life as a disabled ex-soldier in WALTER REED ARMY MEDICAL CENTER in Washington DC when Grammer stopped by for a visit.
Barkalow says, "Kelsey may play a pompous character on TV, but in real life, he's the total opposite. He's a really cool guy who truly cares about people."
And Grammer admits he too was charged up for his meeting with the soldier.
He explains, "It was such an inspiration to meet this man."14/07/2003 17:24
