Gooding: I'm Clean And Ready To Move On From Kylie

Model James Gooding has come out the other side of his drugs and booze hell - having "drawn a line" under his well-publicised break up from pop star KYLIE MINOGUE.

The chiselled cheek-boned 28-year-old had a public bust up with the Australian singer at this year's (03) Brit Awards, before checking himself into a drugs rehabilitation clinic shortly afterwards.

He subsequently lost public sympathy with a series of 'kiss and tell' interviews with the British tabloid press.

However, Gooding now claims to have shunned alcohol and drugs since leaving the clinic months ago - and is ready to move on from his on/off relationship with Minogue, who is now dating French actor Olivier Martinez.

He explains, "I was in a situation I had no control over. It was a very difficult time. I'm glad it's over. I wanted to draw a line under it and move on. That part of my life is over. I want to distance myself from it.

"Rehab was a scary and positive experience. If everyone just stopped and looked at themselves, the world would be a better place."

However, Gooding does concede he will always harbour lingering feelings for his former lover.

He adds, "If there's love there, it never really goes away."
