Gollum's A Big Fan Of Water Babies

LORD OF THE RINGS star ANDY SERKIS is a huge fan of water births after watching his wife give birth to their two children at home.

The actor, who plays GOLLUM in the hit Rings films, is about to become a dad for the third time and he's determined to make this one another water baby.

He says, "We had both our kids at home - one in the kitchen and one in the living room - in water birthing pools.

"It's an amazing way to have kids because, as a father, you're very much involved. For pain relief it's fantastic because you're literally in this warm water and in between contractions, the dad is like a boxing coach.

"There's not a lot of intervention, just midwives there and they come in at the last bit and help you deliver. It's just about the two of you and then the baby."
