Golf Thugs Make Murray Mad

Golf-mad Bill Murray is a stickler for course etiquette and hates people who don't follow the rules.

The movie star has fumed over divots others leave on his favourite golf courses, and often breaks the rules to clean up after them.

He says, "I was a greenkeeper so I know how much work it takes to make a course perfect. I've made the mistake of seeing a footprint (in a bunker) and spasmodically raking it before hitting a shot.

"That's a violation of the rules, so I would assess myself a penalty.

"I repair other people's repair marks. It drives me nuts."
