Glitter Eyes Swiss Haven

Disgraced British rocker Gary Glitter is planning to take refuge in Switzerland after he completes his three-year prison sentence in Vietnam. Glitter, real name Paul Francis Gadd, was found guilty of sexually abusing two young girls after a two day trial last week (03MAR06) - but still maintains the verdict is the result of a conspiracy against him. And the 61-year-old singer is convinced having a home in Switzerland will allow him to live undisturbed. He tells British newspaper The People, "Switzerland is somewhere I would like to go to get away from the Judases and the media who've conspired against me. "Lots of stars live there quietly so I hope I'll be left alone and allowed to get on with my life."
