Gibson's Beach Bowling Plans
Hollywood star Mel Gibson is such a huge fan of bowling, he is shipping an eight-lane alley to his Fijiian island home.
The PASSION OF THE CHRIST director bought the 5,411-acre (2,164-hectare) Mago Island in Fiji in late 2004 for $15 million (GBP8.6 million).
After visiting the island several times over the past year (begs05), Gibson has bought a bowling alley to entertain his seven children, Hannah, EDWARD, CHRISTIAN, WILLIE, LOUIS, MILO and TOMMY.
The equipment, which came from the only bowling alley in Fiji after it went bankrupt, is currently being loaded onto a small cargo ship in Fiji's capital Suva, a shipping official has confirmed.
