Gibson To Be Sitcom Regular
Actor and film-maker Mel Gibson loved playing a policeman so much on his new sitcom COMPLETE SAVAGES, he's planning to make many more appearances as the character.
Gibson, who executive produces the comedy, based loosely on his family life, has appeared in the new show as OFFICER COX, a policeman in the safety videos Keith Carradine's character makes his sons watch.
Show regular ERIK VON DETTEN says of Gibson, "I think he's fallen in love with this Police Officer Cox character from the '70s that he's playing.
"At any opportunity, he likes to come in and play that cameo. There are a few episodes coming up with his character in them."
