Gibb Brothers Keep The Bee Gees Alive With Big Plans

BEE GEES brothers ROBIN and BARRY GIBB are planning a series of celebratory projects for 2006 and 2007 to honour their late brother MAURICE.

The Gibb brothers disbanded the Bee Gees after Maurice's death in 2003, but they haven't stopped making music.

Robin has big plans to keep his brother's memory and the Bee Gees' music alive and Barry is more than happy to assist.

Robin's manager JOHN CAMPBELL tells Billboard.com that the former Bee Gee is planning a tribute album, a free summer concert, a TV special, a Broadway musical and a film, which will all focus on the trio's legacy.

The tribute album, which is being produced by KENNETH 'BABYFACE' EDMONDS, will feature artists like SIR PAUL McCARTNEY, WYCLEF JEAN and SNOOP DOGG.

Meanwhile, Robin's concert plans include a free show in New York's Central Park over the 4th of July weekend in 2007. And a Bee Gees stage musical, YOU WIN AGAIN, goes into pre-production later this year (05), and will debut on Broadway, New York and London's West End late next year (06).
