George Michael: 'Beckham Is Insecure'

George Michael has slammed soccer star David Beckham as insecure - because he changes his style so often.

The former Wham! singer is happy with sporting just one image, and derides Beckham's constant fashion fluctuations.

Michael says, "It's okay for a woman to try new styles, but for a man? If I look at David Beckham - he looks fantastic, but permanently changes his look. All I can see is insecurity.

"No matter how great he looks, he is still insecure. Things like that should stop if you reach a certain age."

This probably has been twisted slightly, stories like these aren't true word for word all the time.(I wish they would'nt type "slammed" cause it sounds as if George had a shouting match, lol!)I think even Beckham has his insecurities but we ALL do, even George has them, he was very open about themon his documentaries.I DON'T think this was a verbal attack, it was just a remark.Am sure George knows that insecurites can haunt u forever, not even Beckham can shake them off!Anyone in the showbiz or football industry can change their image from time to time if they want to, it dosent always mean they are insecure but sometimes they are.Who would'nt be insecure in Beckham's position? He the greatest football star in the world!I'd be a nervous wreck with all themedia and the attention! lol!

Listen here, George Michael. As you can see, my screen name does not lie. I don't think you should be saying those things about other people-it's called gossip and it's not a good thing. What, may I ask, is wrong with changing the way you look? It's a way of expressing yourself. You try all sorts of different things until you find one that's right for you. And if that's not the case, then you can just have a certain look for a certain ocassion. Women and men have equal rights and should be able to do the same things...(except for obvious things like getting manicures or things like that) but something as simple as changing your look is definitley unisex and can happen and any age. I would be quiet, if I were you. You are being quite rude!
