George Martin Disapproves Of Modern Technology

Legendary BEATLES producer GEORGE MARTIN disapproves of modern technology because now anyone can make a record in the comfort of their own home.

Martin sealed his place in history by piecing together a string of classic albums including REVOLVER and SGT PEPPER'S LONELY HEARTS CLUB BAND - but he fears the advent of mp3 players will dumb down the music industry.

He says, "With iPods, mini-recorders and all the new technology, people can lie in their bath and make a rock record."

How come Sir George Martin has never admitted to the fact that in 1963 he advertised his children for adoption in a shop window? Has this come out in his veyr expensive autobiography?

George is not against modern technology. Hell his AIR Studio is one of the most modern recording studioc around. He just indicates that today any yahoo with with equipment they bought down at Wal-mart can make a hit record. This is mostly the the fault of not the technology but of the music buying public. Today quaility is replaced by "Maketability" and the public today wil buy any old s**t. As unstable said above "Look at many of our current "artists" who record at high-end studios, where an hour of reel-time will cost $500...and their "music" still sucks." Wether it's "Analog s**t" or "Digital s**t", it's still nothing but s**t. And that is what today's music buyer wants.
