Geldof: 'No More Live 8'

SIR BOB GELDOF has vowed never to arrange another LIVE 8 gig - because he is getting too old.

The poverty-awareness campaigner, who has just been named 2005 Man of Peace, organised Live Aid in 1985 and Live 8 this year (05) - but doesn't think he will have the stamina to do it again as a pensioner in 2025.

He says, "If I leave it another 20 years, I'll be 74, I don't think I could handle it.

"I'm hoping we don't need to have another Live Aid."

Geldof's daughters FIFI TRIXIBELLE, TIGER LILY, PIXIE and PEACHES are relieved at their dad's decision, because an old man hosting such an event would be "embarrassing".

	I would like to interupt your little rants, in an attempt to defend The Sir bob geldof. I strongly disagree with your points. Both of you seem to know it all. Ok, Bob Geldof may not be perfect, but im sure as hell that your not! I dont think its fair to be degrading enough to bring his Home/private life into this, as it has nothing to do with it. Your right...Live8 didnt make money...but it certainly wasnt about that. It was about alerting people of what is happening in africa, before the G8 conference, which did actually involve bob geldof quite considerably. IM annoyed to see such negativity thrown at him, as i think he is one of a tiny population of people strong minded enough to make a difference. The only way i could possibly understand you in any way, is if you actually did something about poverty yourselves. At least he has put all his effort to conduct such events, and at least try. And thats more to be said than you i believe!!!!!!! Please....understand what he is trying to do. he is a good man, and please..it is wrong to bring people personal lives into situations with clearly no relevence to the live8/live aid campaign. Visiting back to the subject, i think that sir Bob geldof has done a amazing job with this campaign, and we are very proud of what he has acheived and what he has given to the community. 	"Geldof's daughters FIFI TRIXIBELLE, TIGER LILY, PIXIE and PEACHES"..... Just for the record..Tiger Lily is NOT Bob's daughter.She is no relation to him at all. She is the daughter of the late Michael Hutchence and Paula Yates. It is also a FACT that 'do-gooder' Bob may be all for helping people on the other side of the world but is not so compassionate closer to home. Bob, ironically an advocate for Fathers and Grandparents rights, rarley allows Michael's family access to Tiger. She is not allowed to visit her Grandparents or her Auntie and when they have come to the UK to visit Tiger he has been known to take Tiger out of the country on a sudden 'holiday'. Obviously charity does NOT begin at home for 'Saint' Bob!

	Dear Sir Geldof, Your time in the limelite is over. I hate to be the one to break this to you, but you are already old. And your hosting of Live 8 was as you put it, "embarrassing." Your may have intended well but your results are poor. How many africans have gone hungry since your first Live Aid concert? At least then you were raising money and trying to make a direct impact. Live 8 was nothing more than big rock concert with the pretence of helping africans. The reality was it helped nobody. Please do us all a favor Sir Bob Geldof, and go away. - thanks and God Bless
