Geldof Annoyed At Art Exhibition
SIR BOB GELDOF was disgusted to find some of his worst photographs had been put on display at a charity art auction in London on Monday (19SEP05).
The Live Aid legend discovered event organiser ZITA LLOYD had picked out pictures he had taken in Africa of motorcyclists snapped from a taxi, and put them next to more impressive works by BRYAN ADAMS and U2 frontman BONO.
Geldof says, "They look awful. I asked Zita to pick out some pictures from my book, and these are the ones she chose. I mean, why? Bono's picture is great - which makes it even worse."
The Clothesline art project is a visual display which focuses on violence against women. The event was hosted by London's club The Hospital.
