Frost Sacked By From Talk Show

Actress SADIE FROST has been sacked from her British talk show WHAT SADIE DID NEXT after viewing figures plummeted.

JUDE LAW's ex-wife hoped the series on satellite channel E4 would be a springboard to a new presenting career - but TV bosses pulled the plug after just eight shows.

Sadie was supposed to use her connections to pull in A-list celebrities, but after an impressive start with Hollywood star GWYNETH PALTROW, things quickly went downhill.

The disappointing C-list guests included artist TRACEY EMIN, former drug smuggler HOWARD MARKS and singer PEACHES.

British newspaper THE SUN, today (11MAY04) quoted a source saying, "Sadie got a lot of criticism for being a lightweight interviewer. People just didn't warm to the sycophantic way she treated her celeb pals on the show."

Last night (10MAY04) network CHANNEL 4 insisted, "The show was only ever commissioned for one series. It will appear again with a different presenter."
