Former Blur Star Joins Art World
Former BLUR guitarist GRAHAM COXON is following in SIR PAUL McCARTNEY and DAVID BOWIE's footsteps by swapping music for art, to put on his own exhibition.
The BEETLEBUM musician, who studied fine arts at London's Goldsmiths University alongside artist SAM TAYLOR WOOD, will show work specially created for the exhibition at the capital's ICA on 30 and 31 October (04).
The solo artist provided all the artwork for his solo album HAPPINESS IN MAGAZINES - as well as designing the artwork for the Blur album 13.
Coxon quit the British chart-topping group in 2002 after falling out with frontman DAMON ALBARN.30/09/2004 17:17
