Foreman: 'It's Time To Forgive Polanski'
OLIVER TWIST star JAMIE FOREMAN insists its time to let fugitive director ROMAN POLANSKI get on with his life.
The controversial film-maker is still a wanted man America, where he fled after being convicted of child sex charges in 1977.
But actor Foreman, who played CHARLES DICKENS villain BILL SYKES in Polanski's adaptation of the classic novel, can't understand why people continue to hound the maverick director.
He says, "Everyone's got skeletons in their closet and has done things they regret. I'm sure he's no different.
"He's in a great place in his life now being happily married with a lovely family. Shouldn't we forgive others and give them a chance to redeem themselves?
"I take people as I find them, and I liked him a lot."
