Ford Set For Big Screen Career

Former fashion designer TOM FORD has kickstarted his Hollywood career - by landing a role in Maggie Gyllenhaal's new movie.

The former GUCCI boss - who appeared as himself in 2001's ZOOLANDER - quit the company earlier this year (04) and revealed his plans to "carve out" a film career.

Ford has been cast in THE GREAT NEW WONDERFUL.

A source says, "Tom has always been passionate about film and wants to curve out a career in Hollywood."
